If you are in contract then you should also be in warranty.

It doesn't matter, they chose to use them or not to replace them, if they had then they would be in warranty so they should extend the cover to include parts that they chose not to install/replace if you get what I mean.

Ring them, I doubt you will get any argument, I doubt they even know what or who did anything, I suspect that all they will see is the contract date and organise for an engineer.

Re: free sky engineer? to replace cable?

      just been on to them

the 12 month contrac was not restarted in decemer so the multiroom and skytv is notn contract, the las time sky were here was 17/1/09 and a 90 day warranty was started from then. so they wont do nothing, however i was thinking i could try to ring up when the 24/7 customer services opens at 8 30 to cancel the multiroom unless i get the sky cable fixed free and something free? or completly cancel?

think id better clear this up

      august 2008 - sky+ installed (12 month

      2008- sky+hd installed

january 2009 - samsung sky hd installed(faulty pace)

      2009 - cut off

      december 2009 -sky payed up

So long as you're not getting any pixellation, don't worry about the signal readings on the Sky box. I've occasionally had allegedly low signal readings from the default transponder, and not the slightest problem in sight. I do notice that as the Transport Stream varies throughout the day ( usually 07d4 ) , so does the Signal Strength readings. Just keep an eye on things.

yeah, but i always got 100% on both inputs, and i think he put the shotgun in because he was a proper sky man
