Sky+ 'No Satellite Signal...' Error Since Unplugging From DVD and TV

Hi there. I've got a bit of a problem with my Sky+, and I'm really hoping someone on here can help me.
Last night I tried replacing my exisiting DVD player, which is connected to the Sky+ box and my TV, with my new blu-ray player. For whatever reason, this didn't really work. However, the problem with Sky+ that I noticed since doing this is that I constantly get the error "no satellite signal is being received, please switch off at the mains for 1 minute". I'm sure that I've connected everything back correctly, so I can't understand why it's not working. Does the aerial cable go into the Sky+ box? I've tried countless variations on the different connections but nothing is working and I'm starting to get a bit panicky. Any thoughts?
      Thanks in advance.

It's the feed cables from the dish to the sky tv box that cause this. Make sure they are in properly and tightly. Sometimes they work loose or the termination on them gets a bit duff.

does the sky box say hese exact words -no satellite signal is being received, please switch off at the mains for 1 minute ive never seen that before

maybe you have knocked the sky cable, try wiggling it, and screwing it in further, if you can
