      SKY + BOX NOT WORKING - Help please:-(

      I was deleting a recorded programme last night on my Sky+ box when the message stayed on (deleting) and then planner froze. I unplugged the unit and left it to clear, but it still stays on red. Tried again this morning after leaving it unplugged, when I plug in you can hear it starting up but then nothing and it stays on red.
      Can anyone help please!!!!!

      You could try a software update.

      Unplug the receiver again, then when you plug it back in, hold down the backup button on the receiver (not the remote) and turn it on, you should get a message on screen telling you to wait upto 10 minutes, hopefully this should sort it.

      It would also be worth doing a planner rebuild once you can get into the services menu.

      Ok. I've tried that but no luck. The on/off button not responding just staying on red and on the tv showing No signal so no messages coming up there.

      Which make/model of digibox is this?
