      It's 90 days. So you pay 65 and lose your recordings (or transfer them to the "refurb" with the risk that you'll have to do it all over again in the near future).

      Or you fix/replace the PSU and get a 3 year warranty on it.

      a 3 year warranty on the parts, the rest of the receiver is getting on a bit though and hard drives don't last forever.

      The rest of the receiver, apart from the ageing HDD, will still be fine for some time though I would think. And the HDD can easily be replaced.

      OK, upgraded PSU + new HDD = a bit more than the cost of a callout (unless you DIY), but is probably still worth it, as you'd surely have a much more reliable box at the end of it than if you got a "refurb" off Sky.
