      Magic eye Issue ....Help Please!!!

Can someone please help me on this
I have had Sky + for some time with Multiroom
Recently i have cancelled my multiroom and only have basic channels running off 2nd box in Kitchen
I have bought a magic eye kit & assumed that as cable already goes from sky + box to 2nd box in Kitchen ~ all i would need to do is take Coax cable out of box (where it says dish input) & plug into magic eye.
I have tried this & magic eye does not light up
I have set settings up on sky as instrustions ~ Still nothing
can anyone help me with this??

Have you made sure you have the right cable plugged into the right side of the magic eye as we did this wrong last week and it didn't light up until we changed the cables around.

You shouldn't be messing with any of the inputs labelled DISH INPUT.

The cable comes out of RF2 on the sky box and then in between this cable and the TV socket, you place the magic eye (the correct way around, male end into the telly, female into the cable).

If the cable is plugged into any faceplates during it's journey from the box to telly, then you need to ensure they are unscreen faceplates otherwise they will filter out the electrical signal that powers the magic eye.

YOu also need to go into the services menu and switch on the power to the RF2.

Re: Magic eye Issue ....Help Please!!!

Just to confirm ~ The DISH INPUT cable goes into the normal sky Box ( I am replaing this box with the magic eye ) ~ . I have checked the back of my sky+ box and the only cables that go out of the RF2 points look ike a normal inside cable that goes to the TV Aerial point!! I am starting to confuse myself now.
Should i take the 1 cable out of the back of the sky+ box ( the 1 that goes outside and to my 2nd normal sky box ) and put another end on it and plug into RS2 outlet. Then at the other end take out cable that goes to dish input (2nd sky box)and put into magic eye???. I can then get rid of 2nd box possible??? Soryy if sounding really thick!!!!
