Finally got Sky+ in October. Everything was fine until a few weeks ago.

When switching to certain channels our widescreen Toshiba TV (standard CRT) switches from 16:9 to 4:3 (so there are black bars on the side of the picture). This is for certain channels (MTV, MTV Base) or on certain channels depending on the show being broadcast (e.g. Sky1 - Simpsons, picture will be 16:9 during ad break)

Is anyone else having this problem? I spoke to Sky and they said it is nothing to do with the television and that the broadcaster chooses whether to broadcast in widescreen or 4:3.
