FFS they must have Gordon Brown as a consultant.

      Re: Sky Mag

havent got new december mag yet but the sky mag usually has a price printed on it.
it was given free to sky customers on most packages, only the basic package didnt get it and had the option to buy( if they were daft enought to)

you can call sky customer service to stop the mag but it doesnt alter your package price
being a postie i would have to deliver less if we all opted out but thats a personal opinion

Previous to that it says, "But don't worry, the cost is discounted on your monthly subscription so your total bill will remain exactly the same"

      Re: Sky Mag

It says there is a change to the price this month but don't worry as the cost is discounted on your monthly subscription. Then says "From 1 January 2010 the total price you pay for this magazine will be 2.20. Does not say the cost will still be discounted. To me this looks like from January we are going to be charged for it. Anyone spoke to Sky yet to clarify the situation.

      Re: Sky Mag

      The Sky mag is free.

The price shown on the magazine is primarily for people who pick it up in shops i.e. comet. All Sky customers get it sent to them for free, if they so wish

You don't need to call Sky about it as the letter makes it clear that it will continue to be free as it says "But don't worry, the cost is discounted on your monthly subscription so your total bill will remain exactly the same". They have to tell you about this as I believe it is something to do with Tax or Vat reasons.

      Re: Sky Mag

I think it is a case of Ms. Barry not being able to express herself very well. The last sentence seems to have been stuck on as an afterthought, as if she had thought "D'oh!, I had better tell them what the cost will be".
