No satellite signal received and freezing picture.

It starts about 11am and then peroidially happens until about 17:30. Once it's dark it's fine, and affects the BBC channels the most, and typically ITV is affected a lot less.

I live in South Wales, but BBC1 Northen Ireland freezes and cuts out less than BBC 1 Wales, although it's sill not too reliable. Sometimes BBC1 Wales cuts out for 20 mins or more, usually when I'm midway through watching Football Focus Thank god for TVCatchup!

Is my dish out of alignment, or is it something more technical like a faulty LNB? The signal strength is about 40% and looking at the signal quality it's on 90%, but then peridically drops to 0%

I'm a former Sky subscriber so contacting them isn't going to help.

Is there anything in front of the dish, a tree or ivy growing up the wall etc?

If not then it could either be a faulty LNB or receiver.
