Trouble moving Sky+ programmes to HDD

Hi,

I have just installed a new HDD/DVD recorder and am trying to move some of my Sky+ recorded programmes on to it, but whenever I try to do it, it just records whatever output the Sky channel is on at the time, rather than the recorded programme.

My TV, HDD and Sky+ are all connected to each other directly by scart cables. Where am I going wrong?

All you have to do is mark the programme(s) that you want to copy across to the DVDR, then follow the on-screen prompts. All that the copy function does is an automated playout of the programmes you have selected. If you only want to copy 1 programme, just press record on your DVD recorder, and play on your Sky+ box, and stop when it's finished.

Thanks very much...the mistake I was making was to have the HDD already in record before I hit Copy!
