      Sky+ playback freeze since new card

      Hello all.

      Since I have received my new Sky viewing card my box has developed a problem whereby during playback from time to time the picture freezes. The drive spins down and then back up again, but I cannot do anything other than switch the box off at the wall, after which all is well again. I haven't yet had to do this more than once in a 'session'.

      I have a modified Pace box with a 250gb hard drive. The system details are as follows:

      Manufacturer: pace
      Model: 6.2a.03
      Version: 9F2116
      OSV: 1.31B07
      EPG: 5.04.e

      Any similar experiences out there? I've suggested a link between the new card and the problem, but I have no real evidence to back this up. I did have 'that problem' earlier on in the year with the dodgy OS upgrade leaving my drive always spun up, but apart from that I've had no issues.

      go into engineers menu and take the sky+ planner rebuild
      wait at least 5 mins and then turn on
      it works perfectly for me
