sky lnb self upgrade
is there any chance someone could do a guide on changing the lnb?
i want a quad lnb but have never been up the ladder to see how this is connected to the dish.
sky and local independants want crazy money that they are simply not going to get out of me.
im quite capable of dooing the work myself, just want to know the best way to do it.
just moved in, only a single feed at the min and i have a sky+ box, also want multi room in bed room via another sky+ box

cheers lads, thats all the info i needed, think ive just got to measure the arm to make sure i get the right lnb, its recent type dish.

If you look at this pic below:
You will see there are 2 adaptors 3 with the actual LNB without the adaptor fitted, this type of LNB should fit your dish.

But not if it was installed after the middle of May when the mk4 dish and LNB were introduced.
LNB pictures - oval or round dish?

Yes but I dought he would need one of those and if he does just find a nice Sky man and blag a dish or better still get him to fit it for a few quid

still think there should be a step by step sticky on this subject as it must be quite common, think it would be qite handy, maybe skyuser could start selling some of the kit to do this???

Why its a 15 second job, the hardest part if climbing up the ladder.
