Swapping hard drives from another Sky+ box
I damaged the AV outputs on my current Sky+ box, so purchased another identical Sky+ box (Pace) with the intention of putting the old hard drive into the new box, as we have a number of programmes recorded on the original one.
Is it just a case of swapping over the hard drives, or do I then need to register the new Sky+ box with Sky for it to work?

Re: Swapping hard drives from another Sky+ box
You will have to phone Sky to get your card paired with it. The hard drives should just be a straight swap.
