      Sky+ Memory reduced.

Hi all. I wonder if any of you more technical folk can explain this. My friends Sky+ box tells him that he has used 30% of his memory. It also tells him he has 30% memory left. Does anyone know what has happened to the missing 40% ? Thanks peeps, in anticipation.

Easy one.... Anytime TV - I presume he has worked out the "used" portion from the info on each recording, which will at best be vague.... On a std 160gb PVR3, 80 gb is reserved for Anytime, so you actually only have 80gb avqilable for recordings..

Not so easy, the Sky+ Planner quotes the free and user percentages as percentages of the 80Gb PERSONAL partition, does not include the AnytimeTV part at all,

What I would recommend doing is a Planner Rebuild and then (if that doesn't solve his issues) a Full System Reset (BUT BE WARNED, THAT DELETES ALL OF HIS RECORDINGS AND ANYTIME VIDEOS). To do that press services then (in quick succession) 4, 0, 1, SELECT, that should get you into the Installer Setup menu, from there you should be able to do what you need to do.

      Hope that helps you out,
