      signal strength and quality

      Had the Amstead Hd box, new install, dish etc. yesterday. Signal is about 50% and quality 90%. Will this be ok or should I get the subbies out to put the dish higher up the chimney?

      The height of the dish from the ground is irrelevant. It just has to have a clear view of the sky, at about 30 degrees to the horizontal.
      It may be that its not aligned properly.

      If you have a quality of 90%, you will be fine!! I have seen boxes with Zero strength and 50% quality working faultlesly!!!
