cant watch box office!!!

I have recently cancelled my sky subscription and are currently serving my notice. It will be cut off on may 19. I tried to book the boxing on sky box office but it said there was insufficiant funds on my viewing card and to call a phone number. so i called the number and waited best part of an hour for someone to answer. I told them what had happened and could i pay for the boxing on my credit card, the woman said no. this seems wrong to me. i dont see what the problem is, i have paid for the month so expect a months service. Is this right or have they just got the hump cos im ditching them for virgin?

I would say it is more to do with the way the computer system is designed more than anything else.

cancellation notice is active on your account
as box office may not make it through billing intime for last payment coming off the system cannot and will not allow box office orders
