Combi boiler??? So it'll be subject to temperature changes then, esp say of a morning when the cupboard may be cool - But then the heating fires up....
TBH, if it's vented to the outside, you are asking for probs, as when it's cold outside, moisture in the air will get into the box......

A lot of people say not to smoke because it kills, yet thousands do without any problems. (There are stupid people everywhere.)
