We've just agreed to upgrade our aging Grundig satellite receiver for a Sky+HD box...and have a Sky+ box in the bedroom with a multiroom lite subscription at £4.85p/c/m
I was just wondering what will happen to the ageing Grundig receiver?
Will the Sky engineer run a cable to the other bedroom for freesat usage?

Re: Sky receiver
Not unless you make it worth his while. Sky make nothing from Freesat so will not be willing to help you benefit.
Have a word with the installer and inquire if 20quid or so coming in his direction would enable him to fit an octo (8 output) LNB rather than the quad he will have to fit, and run the extra cabling. Even if he only fits you an octo and you do the cabling, thats the tricky bit sorted.
