      Is there a postcode checker for Sky TV?

      I am thinking of buying a house which is near a small hill and wondered how to check if it is possible to get Sky TV there. As far as I know the present owner has moved out so won't be able to ask him/her.

      TIA for any helpful advice.

      Dont think there is a checker as such.... Best bet is to phone Sky and ask

      Have a look:

      Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps. Make sure you select Astra 28.2E 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D. Zoom in on your new house, and see what it comes up with.
      Panasonic TX-P50G10B, Onkyo HTS 3305, Sky+HD Thomson 4E3007 (with upgraded PSU & WD5000AVDS HDD),

      How close and high is the hill. The angle upto the satellite is far steeper than the dishes make it look.
