telephone cable from socket to box
My friend is having Sky HD installed next month.
Her telephone socket is on the other side of the room to where the box will be, and the telephone cable that comes in the box will be too short.
I'm presuming she need to get a longer cable herself in advance of the Sky engineer coming to the house.
Is it just a normal telephone cable, with a telephone connection on one end, and a modem connection on the other, or is it more complicated than that?

For the tv box you can get away with just running a standard telephone extension cord round, obviously for ADSL you can't.
