LNB faulty or box /hard drive problem??
Hi all hope you could shed some light on this for me.
Every so oftem my Amstrad sky plus box just shuts down or failing to record programmes. when it does this i have noticed one input doesnt have a signal and its status is not locked. i can cure this by switching of and resetting it but its getting annoying, it can go for a week without a problem and then mess up. When it just suddenly turns off when watching a recorded programme i then have to FF the programme i was watching as it dosnt know where i had watched it to if you get what i mean
any help much appreciated
i have done the software update by the way
Thanks
Andy

Re: LNB faulty or box /hard drive problem??
Chances are that it is a receiver problem.
Ring Sky, if in warranty they will swap whatever needs replacing for free, if out of warranty it will cost £65.00.
