Was working fine, now asking for Sky Card

Right. So we used to have normal Sky, then a switch to change between aerials (one for English, one for Italian), and then we had Italian channels under "Other Channels". Now, we just got a Sky+ box, so they guy who installed it left the old box, and connected it to one aerial for Italian TV, and the Sky+ box is normal Sky channels only. Now though, the old Sky box was unplugged, and when we plugged it back in, it's asking for a Sky card when you go to "Other Channels", so we put the card from the Sky+ box into the Sky box (same card as before) and it asked for a pin, so we tried 0000, then 1234, then I went to reset it from the Sky Portal, changed it to 1234, put it in - blocked for 10 minutes. How can we get it back to how it was before now?

I don't think you can use one card between two boxes. The card you had will be paired with the new Sky+ box, you will have to set it up to get the 'other channels'. If you wanted to use your old box for Italian channels only you would have to get another card for it, which would probably mean taking out multi room.

But it didn't have a card a few days ago, and it was working fine.

Re-connect it to the Sky feed for a while, tune to a few channels. Possibly even re-boot he box whilst connected to Sky feed. It may be as simple as the box needing epg data to work correctly. No sky feed no epg.

There's the problem. A Sky Digibox is designed to be connected to the LNB on a dish aimed at Astra-2. An aerial is no use.

I think he probably means a 'dish' aerial Sam.

Being pedantic Sam, there is an aerial within the LNB. Due to the frequencies involved it is tiny.
