      No signal on Sunday nights

This sounds daft but it's true. Invariably on a Sunday night we lose our signal. Sky tech support say we need to pay 60 for a visit cos we're out of warranty. Any ideas? The cabling and connections seem OK and most of the time the signal is recieved OK.
      Thanks. Bob.

Hmmm, I sure I read here about someone else with this sort of problem.
If I remember correct, their sky cabling was to close to a neighbours security system or somthing, and was shutting down the sky signal.

Could be a local microwave link interfering with your signal.

Is anyone else in the immediate area affected in the same way?

Along the lines of the things suggested but do you have a DECT phone and make a lot of calls on a Sunday night.

EDIT : No scratch that, its rubbish. The DECT issue only affects two transponders.
