Over the years I have had the same manufacturers' boxes, in all honesty I have had very few issues with any of them.

They have all been as reliable as the equivalent make.

It all depends on the model. The Amstrad DRX100s-400s were a piece of junk, early Pace 2200 were ridiculously slow but they were better by the time they got to the 2600, Thomson have been generally OK since the start. Have you got the model nos? (I still have my first Panasonic TU-DSB 30 and it's still working great!!)

I still have the original Pace from Oct1998, It has never missed a beat, but it is very slow by Thomson HD standards

You'll be lucky to get £20 each for them, unless the buyer don't have a clue what he's buying!!
