      Sky+ Box/Remote behaving strangely

      Hi

Tried changing a channel by entering [1][7][4] etc... split second after you enter the [1] it cancels and on screen display disapears...

Tried changing channel with CH + / - but it won't change...

Tried going to TV GUIDE and selecting a channel to view, it attempts to go to the channel, but displays "NO SCHEDULING INFORMATION AVAILABLE" and the blue bar flickers (flashes on and off)...

Can only watch a channel if we go to TV GUIDE, hit RECORD, then VIEW that recording (at any time during the recording).

I've turned it off and unplugged it for 10 minutes... No change...

      HELP!!!

      Try forcing a software update.

Unplug, power back up but hold down the backup button on the receiver (not the remote) follow the onscreen message, it takes around 10 mins.
