      The Pace Sky+ boxes seem prone to this and the Thomson's aren't much better, by all accounts. Can you string a temporary cable to it? But first ensure that the plugs are actually soldered. If not - and you've disturbed the cable - then that would cause the problem.

      Just thought I'g give it one more chance before trying anything and Bingo! It works now, so I'll just leave it alone 'til it goes down the tubes again. Then, I'll pull some Sat cable right through to the telly!

      Have not managed to try the fly lead yet (works a mare)!, as soon as I have tried it I will post results.
