      Maybe, trial and error i'm afraid.

      There is no reason why you cannot just do it properly and connect the digital aerial to the Sky box and then via RF2 feed upstairs to the amp, no need for anything fancy.

      You should not have a problem with the signal strength to the loft amp, unless there is a fault.

      I do exactly what you want to do, it should not be a problem. Fitting combiners etc is likley to cause many more headaches.

      Bought the kit, installed it and everything works fine! The combiner even includes an optional link to allow the DC feed to the remote sky eye !!
