      weird tv link problem

Ok were do i start, i came home from work the other day to find that my sky TV Link was playing up, to start off my second remote is messing about e.g. buttons 2, 4, 6, 8 and 0 plus the down arrow and a couple of others dont work or take about 10 presses to work. i tried the second remote with the sky box directly and all the buttons work there so i tried the first remote with the eye, same problem. so i moved the eye to my daugthers room and it works fine with both remotes.

Any ideas would be great as it driving me nuts

I dont understand your post, are you saying that you have a remote eye and a feed to your daughters set both connected to the RF2 socket?

If it's just a passive splitter, then assuming that the power is getting through to your remote eyes (the leds are lit), you should replace the splitter with a distrubution amp designed to pass the remote eye signals. Have a look at the maplin site, product L23AG

      Re: weird tv link problem

the thing is its been working for about a year, i got the advice from satcure.com on what to buy. plus the red light is on.

It only seems to be the right half of the remote that wont work in my bed room but it works everywere else in the house.

      Re: weird tv link problem

Well if the remote works else where it's not that.
You tried moving the eye and it worked
The red led is lit so the connections are o.k

      That just leaves the splitter.
