      Cost of Multiroom???

OK I have a Sky HD box, that I paid 200 for 18months ago. If I wanted multi room I know I would have to pay 10 a month extra, but would I have to pay for a Digibox & installation? Also I had to get an independent installer to put up my dish as the Sky installer said he would not put the dish on my chimney, would the multi room installation be a problem?

If you already have hd its more than likely you will have a quad lnb so you will have spare outputs to run another box. As to whether you would have to pay for another digibox and installation is down to whether you feel comfortable installing extra cables yourself, and also whether you already have an old box you can reuse or you need to buy one.

I don't have an old box, so I would be looking to get it from Sky. Also I'm not very DIY savvy, so I don't fancy wiring it up myself.

sky standard boxes are 49 sky+ and hd from 99
set-up is 60 from sky (but could hit problem with sky engineer refusing to connect to dish on chimney) contact local firm who put up the dish and get them to give a quote for new box cables and connection to present dish and telephone line connections

multi-room subscription is only 5 if you dont have sky-movies or sky-sports known as multi-room light

boxes are available on ebay and then you just need cabling and connection to dish sky will provide card

      Re: Cost of Multiroom???

Well, I phoned Sky, as stated already 49 plus 60, as I'm already an existing customer. So having paid out 200 for a HD box 18months ago, and being on the top package didn't help with a freebie box. I'll leave it for the moment.
