      Watch out, it seems the only time this is really enforced is if you have Multi-room.

      well, atleast the multi box is plugged ineven though it was my own box and i just asked for a multiroom card

      Your Sky box, whatever model it is, must be connected to your telephone line for the first 12 months of your contract as previously stated. If you have multiroom, then all boxes must be connected at all times. If Sky don't get a callback when they are suppossed to be connected to a telephone line, then they will charge you an extra subscription fee after a couple of warning letters.
