      Sky+ to Sky+ HD Overcharge?

      Hi all,

I think I may know the answer from searching on here. But here goes...

I have just upgraded from Sky+ to Sky+ HD and paid the 75 for the HD box and the 30 install fee. Work to be carried out on the 4th Nov. Today I receive a letter from Sky to confirm the upgrade and to say that next months payment will be 80. Then 40 thereafter.

We used to pay 40 for the standard pack plus Sky Sports. As the HD requires another 10 per month, that would make it 50 a month right?

So where has the 80 figure come from and why the reduced 40 thereafter?

      I'm confused

Tried to ring them, but they were far to busy to take my call, so I emailed them.

Can anyone throw some light on this?

      Many thanks.
