      Sky Box or Just Card

      Hi Guys,
Excuse me if I sound a bit dim!
I have a question about my Sky box.
If I was to buy a box in country A with a card for free view of terrestial channels only, and then move to country B taking my Sky box with me, can I just insert the equivalent free view card in the slot in country B's language or would I need to change the Sky Box also to one purchased in Country B?

A skybox/card will only work with each other. They will not work with any other services. You can get a "European" satellite reciever that has CAM slots and a card slot so you can subscribe to foriegn channels or just use as a Free to Air system. It all really depends on "Country B". You can use Astra 19 e for german and french mainly, tho there are other languages available, Hotbird 13 e for Italian, arabic, german, french, russian and a few more. Get What Satellite and digital TV magazine for full channel guide to european channels.

@57 chevy - If you tell us where countries A and B are, someone might have a chance of working out what options you have. I don't think Sky will track you down using the information you have already disclosed if you are worried ;-)
