      It wound'nt be about getting stung for the full price for your second HD box by any chance?
      No - I bought a HD box for Glenn, paid the 105 and then got charged 135. Got the 30 refunded, to his account as Sky cannot manage to refund it to a card????

      I then had to ring them again, as they came out and swapped his Sky+ box for the new HD box, although it was quite clear at the time of ordering, that it was a third box.

      To get Sky to come out again, to install what they should have done, the first time, I had to pay an additional 65, of which I would have immediately refunded, allegedly.

      Its a long catalogue of Sky's errors, and I have spent about 4 hours on the phone trying to rectify it, of which it seems totally impossible to do so.

      I should really have put this in another thread, so as not to dilute the OP, but I can certainly see the frustration that the OP is going through.

      I bet if Sky took their staff to the Guinness factory for a knees up, they couldn't achieve getting the staff drunk.

      LOL - No i don't - It takes a lot for me to get wound up, but the brick wall, that I have come up against has managed to do it.

      For the amount you do promoting them and sorting out problems for them you should be getting everything you want free. Don't they know what you do on their behalf?

      Well, full credit to Sky. I just had a phone call about all the issues I had with this as I emailed the CS (All Customer Care dept) ages ago to complain about the fact I was about 85 out of pocket through no refund and phone calls etc.

      Nearly fell off my chair. Not only did they refund me the 65 that they had charged and promised to refund, I got an 87 credit on my account for all the hassle. Free HD and phone calls in other words - Thanks Sky
