Slow EPG and some sound break up

Beginning to notice a few problems. Sky+ install was Thursday last week.

Our EPG seems so have a slight delay at times. so you press TV guide, you see the background, but the menu takes 2-4 seconds to appear. Then you select a channel category and again 2-4 seconds for the list to appear.

There also is occasional sound break up during programs as well

      Any ideas?

It may be worth doing a reset. Switch the receiver into stanbdy and unplug from the mains for a minute or so.

You could also do a software update when turning it back on, hold the backup button on the receiver (not the remote) and turn it back on again, keeping backup pressed. You should get a message on screen advising you that it is updating and not to turn off etc.
