      TV Screen Size keeps changeing

Sometimes out TV screen size changes to 4:3 and I have to change it back so that the picture fills the screen.

Is there away to prevent the Sky Box changing the picture size setting on the TV.

It seems to happen when you select a channel or when the adverts come on (happens quite a bit on UKTV Gold).

Also is there any reason why the TV changes channel for a split channel (not noticeable really other than SCART 1 appearing in the top corner to inculcate what channel the TV is on?

      Re: TV Screen Size

It may be a problem with the TV rather than the Sky box. Try disabling SCART control in the Sky box Picture menu. It may help.

If you are using HDMI cable then the picture will auto change to different sizes as the original programming changes size format. Thats the way HDMI works.

Surely it's supposed to that? A 4:3 picture isn't supposed to be stretched to 16:9. Why would you want to watch short fat people?

Thats how ours is, the channel is broadcast in 16:9 but the program is broadcast in 4:3, like Sam said why watch short fat people.
