      Help!!! Sky+ recording and feezing problem

      Hi all,

      I have a problem with my Sky+ in that when I record something I cannot then change channel and watch something else whilst the recording is taking place. When I go to the main channel menu there is no sound and if I select a listing the screen is just blank. If I stop the recording then I get all my channels back but am not able to record. If I leave Sky+ recording and the same channel selected then it records just fine.

      I hope I've made my problem clear. Not sure if it's a common one or not but would be great to get some advice.

      Go into the services menu and then to signal test, you should get a good signal on both LNB feeds, I suspect you will only have one.

      If you do, check the 'f'plug connections at the back, one may be loose, you could try swapping them around to see which is faulty or not working (they are the silver plugs that screw on).

      I have had the same problem and Sky fitted a new LNB

      Have you tried the signal test, what was showing? You do have Sky+ and not HD don't you?
