Technical problems with certain channels only

Since I upgraded from Sky Freesat to a paid Sky subscription (coincidence?) I have noticed a problem with some Freesat channels. Music channel The Vault is the main one but it is also happening with one or two other channels.

I think it is called 'Pixellation' but I am not sure - basically I get a frozen screen with bits of the previous channel I was viewing all mixed up with the one I am trying to view, and no sound.

I was wondering whether Sky were deliberately scrambling 'The Vault' to force me to subscribe to their music mix?

Any ideas what I coud do to resolve this issue? I tried the procedures outlined in the sticky but they have not solved the problem.

      TIA

      Hi
I had a similar problem, I found that it was interference from our cordless phone, moved it to other side of room and bingo. I also believe that baby monitors and other such like equipment can cause this effect.
      Hope it helps
      Steve

Thanks for this - spot on. The moment I unplugged the phone, all was well.
