Loss of channels

Hi,

Anyone else having problems receiving BBC1 (LONDON), BBC2 (ENGLAND), CH4, CH5, etc

We've been getting BBC and BBC News on and off all afternoon, but now it comes up with "there is a tech fault" message for a split second and then "No sat signal being received".

Strange thing is that ITV (LONDON), Sky 1, UKTV Gold (to name just a few are all up and running.

A lot of the discovery channels are also affected, but Nat Geographic (526) is fine, but nat geo wild (528) states a tech problem with channel !!!

I've pulled the plug on the sky box for a few mins and then plugged it back in, but still no joy.

Help - TV could become rather boring this weekend if this keeps up !

OK not sure if it was what I did, or co-insidence, but I disconnected the power lead, un-plugged the phone line, and disconnected the lead from the dish. Waited a couple of mins like before and then plugged everything back in

The general rule of thumb is to do this if you are having problems with any channels as your box then downloads them all back into you box so if you were having issues it might be sorted when you power it back up.
