    Cannot Upgrade Online?!!???!?!?

      Cannot Upgrade Online?!!???!?!?

      I have been trying to upgrade to Sky Sports mix online for the past week but when I do I get this message :

      ERROR
      We Are Sorry
      Unfortunately, we are currently unable to continue with your order online. Please call one of the following numbers to continue:

      New customers: 08442 411 268.

      Existing customers:
      For TV equipment: 08442 411 333.
      For TV channel mixes: 08442 415 161.
      To add Sky Broadband or Sky Talk: 08442 410 583.

      It's really doing my head in because the only way I can get the 10 credit is to upgrade online, I phoned them and asked if I could get the 10 credit if I ordered over the phone and she said no.
      She just said keep trying online, So I have been but still the same message.
      Does anyone else get this?
      The offer is only open till the 15th August

      Ahh, thanks for that, I bet you any money they get it fixed on the 16th of this month, just outside the deadline to recieve the 10 credit. Hmmmmmmm

      I would bet this problem will be with you for a while yet. been ongoing for 6 months now.

      ring the Sky.com customer number explain the situtaion they may put a note on your file sayinmg you are unbale to upgrade online due to fault and that you should get 10 discount because of this.

      The ring up to upgrade, i did this but when i upgraded the offered a discount of 15 per month for the next 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      If you ring Sky, they can fix this. It is normally an old package which is no longer current. In my case, we had an old Disney package that was causing the issue.

      They may offer to give you the credit if you do it over the phone, having explained it is not possible to do it online.

      I have had my issue for 6 months now & Sky have told me my problem is that my account for some reason says i have 2 addresses, but it is only showing one. they have never come across this before and are having to do a software update.

      they have tested the update but need permission to bring down website to upgrade this but they need high approval to do it.

      it is currently in a line of upgardes to be done and could atke another 9 months. So a phone call my note be the amswer to get a quick fix.

      I phoned them up and explained I could not upgrade online to recieve the 10 credit, so they agreed to add the sports mix onto my package and take 10 off my next bill, all over the phone... RESULT!
