Sky Offer for Sky+
Hello all
I am getting very fed up with Sky trying to resolve my issues!
I introduced a friend on 5th June and was told a letter would be sent to me in 28 days to confirm everything (as yet nothing)
I just rang today as i am moving us and arranged install for Saturday. They decided to charge me £60 and want to charge me a further £60 for the Sky + Refer a Friend deal which they seem to have no record off!
I am getting really pi**ed off!!! 25 mins on 1st call and now 32 mins and still no further forward!
Any suggestions???

Re: Sky Offer for Sky+
hi, sky are dumb.
1)Ring them up(via a number from SAYNOTO0870.COM - Non-Geographical Alternative Telephone Numbers ).
2)Tell them straight - i refered a friend on 5/6 and told i would recive a letter, i havent got it, where is it? (keep shouting and repeating your self until they tell you).
3)Say you are moving and are going to be charged the £60 installation fee ONLY!
4)Ask when your parents are getting there FULLY! FREE! sky box.
5)Make sure that you are DEFINAITLEY! getting YOUR! NEW! FREE! sky box installed on SATURDAY!
6)Stress the above points and that you are ONLY! paying £60 installation fee ONCE!Last edited by skypaulusplus; 22-07-08 at 02:26 AM. Reason: spelling

Re: Sky Offer for Sky+
There being paid to do their job. It's not the so called "trainees" that are the problem but rather the people above them who make decisions and never have to face the public. Suggesting someone should shout at someone doing their job is ridiculous and as someone who works with the public regularly I wouldn't stand for it.

Could be why you don't get anywhere with their support team or why you find them to be so "dumb" because they can't get a word in though all the shouting!! I find keeping it polite and friendly helps, nice guy at Sky got me a completely free Sky+ Box! I'm sure I only got this because I was polite and friendly with him!

Re: Sky Offer for Sky+
Erm I don't think so somehow! Probably he was more interested in retaining a customer and hence earning commission than "on the pull"
