Unusual Sky+ Ae feed fault - please help!!

      Hi,

When I do a signal test, I am unable to get a signal on Ch1 unless I leave the F-type connector disconnected, and only connect the inner signal core of the coax.
I have tried swapping over the two feeders, and either feeder works when fully connected (signal wire & outer braid) to channel 2 on its own, neither feeder works when fully connected to channel 1 on its own. Channel 1 will only work when Channel 2 is fully connected, and Channel 1 connected via the signal wire, and the braid isolated. I am running the Amstrad Sky+ box.

      Has anyone experienced this fault????

Try triming a little off the wire of the plug, it should only be about a mm above the nut of the f connector
