Heroes problem 19 June - am I paranoid?

      Hi kids...
Last night I set my Sky+ to record Heroes (on series link) and to record the follow-up on BBC3... simple enough you say.

I was busy watching the football (though I did flick over at one point to see a flash of Heroes) and at the end of the footie, went in to watch the recorded episode of Heroes. However, it said it had failed!! Horror!

I checked on BBC2, which was working fine (Graham Norton.. aaaaargh!) I then quickly switched over to BBC3 to see if the next episode was recording/playing and it said "No satellite signal being received"! BBC3 worked fine after the Heroes broadcast schedule time...

What's going on? Selective blanking out of Heroes just to annoy me?
So, after watching all the Series 1 episodes on DVD, then catching up on all the Series 2 episodes via Sky+, I am left with a big blank in my life!

Sad, I know, but also very annoying!
Am I being paranoid - or does someone have an explanation for this anomaly?

      Ta!

Had this before about a month ago with the apprentice/champs league final, you need to turn off the sky box at the wall, take out all the cables and then put them back in again, wait for about 30 seconds then turn the box back on again

Thanks for the advice - I'll try that Huddy.
In fact the past 7 out of 11 programmes set to record have failed!
      Will report back.
