      A slight glitch!

First of all Hi to all on Skyuser.

I have a slight problem. About 3 to 4 weeks ago I got my box replaced by Sky, cost me £65 but if it got fixed great. Well the same night it got changed the box got stuck on standby. So another phone call to Sky & another few days wait & they replaced that one.

Now the problem! About every 10 or so minutes the sound disappears & the picture seems to freeze/jump for a split second & then all is well again.

Is this a fault with the box or is the dish not lined up properly? Any advice welcome.

      Thanks in advance.

Unless the dish is waving in the wind every ten minutes, it isn't the culprit. Maybe a tree in the way? Maybe a central heating thermostat generating interference? Lots of possibilities.

      Wow! Quick reply.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with trees, heating etc

You can set your watch by it. Why now & never before my box was changed?

Easy. Typically £20 off eBay or your local paper. Keep it as a backup or flog it on eBay afterwards. Probably make a profit!

Think I'll just call Sky & get them back out.

      Thanks for the help.
