tv sky+ problem

Hi

can anyone help ,had problem with sky + and sky told me to take out the scarts and switch off but now i think my tv has forgotten the channel it channels sky through its normally rgb but its now on av1 there is sound but no picture

any help gladly received

That usually indicates a bad connection. Try pushing the scart plugs firmly into their sockets. If that fails, check them for bent pins or pins pushed back.

yeh my dog regularly chases the cat around back of telly and knocks scarts and we get no sound or a green picture
always solved by removing scart or just giving it a good push back in
scarts are very sensetive if one pin isn't quite in right
