I have never been charged, the snag is you are in Spain. How do you get sky to pair the box, without them sussing?

You could ring them and see what they say.

And they will say bugger off, your not in the UK or BFPO.It's down to the people who you dealt with.Sky dont charge to pair a card,so I think your dealer is pulling a fast one.
(I have mates in Germany who have no problem pairing cards as they are BFPO)

      Re: Pair a new box

hi everybody. I just talk to my dealer (well, the girl is working for) and the 30 pounds are charged for 'the service'. Worse than that: to buy a new card was 80 pounds but she told me will be 130 since next July... We must pay them to be able to use it one year more..... Outrageous!! But I tell you: I am a spaniard living in Spain, I have not other way to get the card because I do not know anyone living there to make me the favor, so, if I want Sky, I must pay.... I started in November and there has been more problems than satisfactions... dish size: 1m is not enough to see everything, but can't put anything bigger, the first HD box , which I bought in ebay, was broken after 6 months, no guarantee, now I bought second one, and was cheated from the seller in ebay, was on standby after 30 minutes of use. I had to change fans an power supply from the old box and using my 1T hard disk full of movies I do not want to lose... Now it works....Anyway, so you can say how much we suffer for not living there.....
