50% isn't low. It's the "signal quality" that counts. Mine reads 40% signal and 50% quality. No reception problems.
But bear in mind that the actual reading is not accurate and varies from box to box. It's only a guide for tweaking the dish. Set the dish for maximum signal and twist the LNB for maximum quality.
If you do have problems in heavy rain, then a larger dish is the only answer.

Re: No signal advice for new customer please!
Hi all
I am a bit green to all of this
I have just got a sky+Box and live in the Czech Republic and have been using a 2.1mtr dish on my old skybox with no probs. Can someone tell me if I need 2 LNBS? (as I notice there is 2 connections at the back) If so where must the other be set at? Sorry to be so nieve but to be honest I don't have a clue.
I get the message 29 also but the oldbox works a treat and the other was tested
back at the guys house that I bought it from with no problems
Many thanks in advance

Re: No signal advice for new customer please!
You need a quad-output Invacom LNB and a Pace BSKYB3100 Sky+ digibox. (Other models of LNB and Digibox don't work as well where signal is weak).
