Help with Abbreviations on Sky TV guide please.
Hi, I'm new here with this being my 1st post, I hope I'm posting this in the right area.
I'm in need of help with 1 feature in the TV guide menu.
If you press the 'TV Guide' then 'Movies' you'll see on every film in the guide after pressing the i (information) button a review of that film comes up and at the top you'll see the film title in a yellow header but on the far right of that header there are certain letters such as - on the film Babel these letters DD,W,S show on the right side of the banner. Can someone please tell me or show me where I can find what all the letters mean for all films/programs please? I guess there must be somewhere that tells me all this information??
I know HD means High Definition but can't figure the rest
Thank you for taking the time out to help, Heidi x

Sky TV
TV Guide
Then scroll down to question 27 (of 36) which summarises the codes.
Looks like theres a mistake though - Audio Described programmes get an AD code, not N as shown in the FAQ's.

Re: Help with Abbreviations on Sky TV guide please.
1 more question on this subject.
I was just watching 'Ray Mears Bushcraft' and noticed in the information menu these 2 abbreviations - AD & S
I looked to find out (out of curiousity) what they meant and found 'S' is sexual content, and with AD I couldn't find anywhere what it meant?
Ray Mears Bushcraft is not an adult program, it has no sexual content.
The description of the program is - Ray Mears explores the art of living outdoors.
Does anyone know what AD means please?
Also, do you think it's just been mis-abbreviated with the 'S' ?
Thanks again. Goodie

Re: Help with Abbreviations on Sky TV guide please.
AD - audio described (has a voice over for the blind describing what the pitcure is)
S - Subtitles!?!?!?!?
although the sky website for abbreviations suggests T for subtitles and N for audio described: http://www.sky.com/portal/site/skyco...cleId=11315703
