Sky HD - Planner rebuild - failure ???
We have been having the problem of recorded programs not playing. After reading this forum I tried a planner rebuild. I followed the advised procedure of turning off, unpluggin etc... When I selected planner rebuild from the services menu, it flashes up "Houskeeping" for about 3 seconds, then switches the Sky box off. Is this the correct behaviour ? I left it all night and then turned it back on, with no obvious benefit.
Is this working correctly ??

Re: Sky HD - Planner rebuild - failure ???
Yep that is how housekeeping works.
If it hasn't improved the problems, then you can try a Full system Reset (next option to housekeeping), but this will wipe your hard drive and lose any recordsing/series links.
It could be that your hard drive is about to fail - see my sig on how to upgrade a hard drive (and also how to transfer the data from disk to another).

Re: Sky HD - Planner rebuild - failure ???
OK - thanks for that. I expected it to do "something" , then maybe reboot?
I will see how it goes, thanks once again.
