    lost chanels

    This is a discussion on lost chanels within the Sky & Sky+ TV forums, part of the Other Sky help and support category; I am not getting all my chanels i.e. 4 and 5 + others via my sky dish, can you help...

      lost chanels

      I am not getting all my chanels i.e. 4 and 5 + others via my sky dish, can you help

      Try rebooting your sky box, to do this remove your viewing card and unplug it, leave it off for 4 minutes and then plug it back in and put your card back in. After a few minutes all the channels will download to the box so hopefully your missing ones might return.

      When you reboot the box, as soon as it tunes to the welcome channel it knows everything about how to tune to every channel. Theres no good reason to remove the smartcard except to clean its contacts.
