A couple of general Sky questions
Hi all,
I was a sky subscriber for many years from the analogue to the digital systems, up till about 3 years ago when I cancelled to save some money to fund a new conservatory (was paying £43 a month). I dropped onto the FreeSat system about 12 months after that, but hadn't used for about 8 months up until recently.
My questions are as follows:
1. How long do I have to be a non-subscriber before I'll be recognised as a new customer again? I've been back to sky in the past and they've offered me nothing even when new users where getting great offers. I got some sympathy from the guy on the phone, but said there was nothing he could offer me.
2. Since I put my freesat back on, I seem to have lost some channels. They part come free, but appear stuttery and only a third of the screen, yet other channels are fine. I guess this is an alignment problem - how much should I pay for an engineer to look at this (or are there any in the Blackburn area fancy doing a job on the side?).
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Have you tried ringing them recently to see if there are any incentives to rejoin?
As for your second question, sorry I do not know.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~
