      Magic Eye Adaptor?

Right, I had a problem with my tv in my room in that the sensor is broke so I can't switch it over to AV. However when it was downstairs and I used my Sky remote it automatically changed it to the AV channel SKy was on.

Right so I've took the tv upstairs now (cos I can't get my xbox on it cos can't get it on AV) and ran the magic eye up to it. Only problem is the magic eye doesn't plug into the scart socket but the aerial socket which in turn means when I use the remote upstairs it doesn't make it turn on to av, its the power goign into the scart socket (av) that does that.

Right so I know I've gone on a bit but this is my question, can you get an adaptor for the magic eye to get it to plug into the scart socket?

Please help! Nearly broke my back carry massive telly upstairs last night to find the bloody sky didn't work it anyway and its a massive telly...such a pity wish I could play xbox on it.

      Re: Magic Eye Adaptor?

Right, unfortunately there's no simple answer. The only way to force the TV to switch to AV is to connect a 9 volt battery to pin 8 of the Scart plug that's plugged in to the TV. (You can snip the wire already connected).

Right, positive goes to pin 8 and negative goes to the metal shroud.

      Right?
